My client is a leading global insurer who are looking for experienced Business Analyst to join their internal technology change team based in London. In this team they have 3 core functions: Underwriting Sales, Claims and Finance Corporate Services. This opportunity comes with a significant variety of projects where they work on large scale IT/business critical change programmes.

Technology Business Analyst - £50,000 - £70,000

My client is a leading global insurer who are looking for experienced Business Analyst to join their internal technology change team based in London. In this team they have 3 core functions: Underwriting Sales, Claims and Finance Corporate Services. This opportunity comes with a significant variety of projects where they work on large scale IT/business critical change programmes.

The Role:

  • Gathering detailed requirements and conducting impact analysis through the use of workshops
  • Assessing and identifying processes to enable enhancement and controls ensuring effective delivery of large scale projects
  • Supporting the Project Manager in the implementation and delivery of projects
  • Delivering analysis approach and work plan to define analysis work packages
  • Documentation of define business and functional requirements
  • Creation of Target Operating Models

Candidate Requirements:
Claims:

  • Experience in insurance and claims
  • A good understanding of how claims processes work
  • Experience using Guidewire, PEGA, Genius and Iris

Sales & Underwriting:

  • Experience using PEGA or Salesforce
  • Must have system analysis experience
  • Must have experience in a business facing role

Finance & Corporate Services:

  • Must have experience in insurance finance

Skills:

  • Must have core Business Analyst skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills when engaging with senior stakeholders
  • Must be able to lead and direct workshops with business, stakeholders and other project participants
  • Previous experience in large and complex organisations
  • Proven track record of effective delivery of projects
  • Must have domain knowledge in Claims, Sales & Underwriting or Finance Corporate Services
  • Professional qualification or relevant role
  • Experience using structured analytical techniques
  • Must have experience in an Agile environment
