s Technical Services Consultant you will work closely with our clients (asset managers, fund managers, hedge funds, wealth managers and private banks) to implement and maintain our solutions in their back- and front-office environments. Typical implementation tasks are: installation, configuration, integration, data conversion, automation of processes, specification of custom deliverables, system testing, user training and client communication. Consultants would also evaluate and recommend enhancements to existing clients’ installations and processes.

The Consultant will be servicing clients in the UK and will also be allocated to projects elsewhere in Europe. The role is therefore ideal for candidates who are flexible in terms of travelling and find it exciting to explore different cities, cultures and business practices.

Desired Qualifications
• Strong IT/technical skills (MS Windows, Unix, Linux, MS SQL, MS IIS, integration tools, reporting tools, scheduling, networks and databases).
• Strong business knowledge of the investment management industry.
• Good problem solving & troubleshooting skills
• Understanding & strong experience of financial instruments (stocks, bonds, funds, derivatives).
• Relevant work experience (consulting, asset management or financial software).
• Project management skills; ability to manage and take ownership of all aspects of the implementation/upgrade from start to finish
• Experience with portfolio management systems is a great plus.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Always striving to improve process and ultimately improve the client’s experience
• University-level degree
