Due to the rapid growth of the business, Bury Street is hiring a team executive assistant to support the Sales team with booking and coordinating travel arrangements and also provide general admin support for the wider business.

About the Role

Bury Street is growing rapidly and due to this growth is looking to hire a team executive assist to support the business.

The Sales Team spend a significant amount of their time traveling in Europe and globally meeting investors and clients.

You will take the lead coordinating travel arrangements, including hotel bookings. Travel often involves a number of team members and clients at the same time, with multiple stops/destinations, that require careful coordination and planning. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of these complicated bookings and ensuring the itinerary for each traveller is clear. Bury Street uses Corporate Traveller to assist with travel booking, as well as making some direct bookings. Travel arrangements will often change at short notice and you will need to take the lead rearranging as required.

You will also work closely with the Client Service executive, who has previously been fulfilling this role. You will act as cover for the Client Service executive.

As well as arranging travel you will be responsible for other administrative functions including internal and some client meetings, expense processing, holiday tracking, on-boarding new joiners, office services/facilities, arranging catering and stationary.

There will also be the opportunity to get involved in other ad hoc projects/tasks.

The ultimate objective of this role is to assist the Sales Team with their travel and other admin support.

You will be joining a small organisation with a flat management structure, where you will have interactions with members of the team at all levels of seniority.

You will be part of the support team and will be included in regular all staff meetings.

Bury Street’s office is in St James’s Square, where you will be primarily based. There will likely initially be some amount of working from home.

About the Candidate

You have previous experience of supporting a team and booking travel.

You are organised and good at keeping track of multiple tasks on the go at the same time.

You are used to working in a high pressure environment where you are able to prioritise multiple tasks.

You are looking to work hard and be part of a team.

You are calm and do not get flustered when things get busy.

You are good at following procedures and keeping records accordingly.

You are friendly, personable and like working with others.

You have a can do attitude and take ownership for tasks.

You are good with Excel, Word and comfortable with new computer systems.

You are flexible to be able to work from home or from the office, as required.
