Our client is an international asset management firm with a global presence. They seek to add a junior Team Assistant to work alongside Human Resources and the Executive Team. We are looking for a capable and switched on Team Assistant to support a busy team covering elements of Human Resources and Executive Team diary management. In this role, you will be privy to highly confidential information, so discretion is key.

Team Assistant, Asset Manager

Central London

Our client is an international asset management firm with a global presence. They seek to add a junior Team Assistant to work alongside Human Resources and the Executive Team.  
We are looking for a capable and switched on Team Assistant to support a busy team covering elements of Human Resources and Executive Team diary management. In this role, you will be privy to highly confidential information, so discretion is key. 
The ideal candidate must also be flexible and be able to work outside of the given hours should something last minute arise. Candidates must be polished and articulate. Preferably with a degree or equivalent. 

The Role

Complex diary management and travel arrangements 
Managing projects and provide ad-hoc project support
Scheduling and coordination of group meetings/off-sites, including logistics, catering etc
Coordination and management of training events
Managing HR administrative tasks 
Assisting with budgets and budget management
Assist Reception during lunch shifts and times of staff absence 

The successful candidate will ideally have:

Preferably no more than two years’ experience of working as a Team Assistant or similar, in an SME financial services organisation
The ability to work across multiple time zones
Able to scrutinise own work to ensure absolute accuracy in everything that goes out internally and externally 
The capability to work in a very fast paced and demanding environment
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to liaise with senior executives inside and outside of the business
The ability to be proactive and manage own tasks
Ability to work to tight deadlines, multitask, and work under pressure
Strong IT skills, especially MS Office (PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel)
