Team Assistant - Structured Products - 12 Month FTC

Tradition is currently seeking to appoint a Team Assistant for the Structured Products desk based in London. This will be for an initial 12 month fixed term contract with the view to move into a front office permanent position thereafter.

TFS Structured Products - a leading player in cross-assets derivative bespoke solutions - is looking for a dynamic postgraduate to assist the Sales and Structuring team. Our team specialises in the design of innovative, derivative-based products across all major asset classes and aims to provide tailored solutions and excellent client service.

The position will consist in assisting the Sales and Structuring teams with our clients’ requests, dealing with the new issues process, following-up existing products and creating marketing presentations. It may also involve back testing / stress testing of a broad range of payoffs, assessing the valuation of complex products and dealing in the secondary market.

Candidates will need a solid background in mathematics, economics and finance and show a strong interest in derivatives. The successful candidate will be working in a demanding Front Office environment and should have a good ability to work under pressure, be proactive and diligent.
