A mouth-watering opportunity for someone who understands the potential opportunities for innovation across Legal, Government Relations and Cross-Functions, bringing new ideas to a global IT department. Here, you can accelerate your career development.

What’s the role?

We are looking for an IT Strategy Advisor to provide support to the IT Manager (ITM) in Legal, Government Relations and Cross -Functions in delivering bottom line value to the business through implementation of innovative, new IT solutions and harvesting existing IT assets to enable the achievement of the business strategy, value drivers and KPIs.

Working across our IT Legal, Government and Cross Functions team, you’ll be partnering with the IT Manager for Enterprise Legal Management, seeking out opportunities for us to innovate. Constructive and collaborative, you’ll convince the business that your ideas can add value; from there, you’ll champion and drive implementation.

We’re looking for your creativity and insight into areas such as advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, blockchain, chatbots and the IoT. Don’t be deterred by the scale and complexity of our operations – we’ll make sure you have a support network in place that helps you to fully understand the existing technical landscape and our commercial priorities.

Requirements

Above all, we’re keen to talk to commercially minded IT Strategy Advisors with significant experience in IT related to Enterprise Legal Management (ELM) capabilities including:

  • Matter management
  • Document management
  • E-Billing
  • Legal spend analytics workflow; collaboration contracts analytics compliance management

Armed with experience of identifying and maturing business IT opportunities, you’ll need to convince us you’re enthusiastic about technology developments in the field and highly conversant with how they can be applied to solve business problems.

It’s vital you can engage and influence both technical colleagues and business decision-makers; you’ll need to encourage a constructive dialogue between the two so that IT and the business begin to think and act in alignment.

Last but not least, you’ll need plenty of team spirit and a getting things done mentality. You’ve shown you can easily adopt new ways of working – if you understand Agile too, we’d really like to talk to you.
