As the Senior Treasury Operations Specialist, you will support and deliver operational tasks and facilitate the day to day running of ClearBank®’s FX settlement, Treasury Operations and related activities to ensure our customers receive exceptional service. In this Operations based role, you will interact with cross-functional teams across the business and third parties to deliver and perform daily tasks. You will act as the deputy to the Head of Treasury Operations, and use your knowledge to help educate other team members, and help to build out this newly created function.

Ideally, you will be currently working in a Treasury Operations or FX Back Office role focused on funding, FX settlement, FX netting, and related investigations. Whilst we are happy to train and support where necessary we are looking for candidates who are already competent in the following:

The knowledge, skills and experience you need:

  • Extensive experience of FX and international/cross border payments
  • Good knowledge and experience of SWIFT MT messaging, and equivalent ISO 20022 standards
  • Knowledge of API message flows would be of benefit
  • Experienced at investigating and resolving reconciliation differences
  • Knowledge of Repo and reverse-Repo post trade activities would be beneficial
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritise and work on multiple items concurrently
  • Good understanding of resolving FX post trade queries, including interest claims and back-valuation adjustments
  • Work with Treasury to agree liquidity positions and when funding is required for the various currency accounts
  • Knowledge of direct interaction with trading counterparts with regard to forecasting, agreeing, netting and settling the proceeds of FX trades
  • Reconcile charges with Nostro correspondent banking partners, and ensure all differences are addressed and resolved
  • Strong work ethic and team player mentality
