About the Role



The Senior Specialist - Client Events is an integral part of Latham's Events team. This role will be responsible for running a successful client events program, working with key stakeholders to determine the needs and requirements of events, seminars, and conferences. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading or supporting the planning and execution of client events from initial concept through onsite delivery, working independently and in collaboration with team leadership and key internal stakeholders. This role is a 13-month fixed-term contract and will be based in our London office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.




Responsibilities & Qualifications



Key responsibilities include:





  • Coordinating end-to-end event logistics and administration, such as vendor and venue research and management, registration sites, materials, room and equipment bookings, and event support

  • Developing and managing event budgets, tracking expenditures, and processing related expenses in collaboration with team leadership to ensure accurate reporting and fiscal discipline

  • Drafting and coordinating client-facing event communications and collateral; partnering with e-marketing and CRM teams to ensure alignment with firm standards, accurate data, and effective outreach

  • Maintaining high-quality event data and documentation, including calendars, reporting and post event analysis, while monitoring industry and competitor event trends to support best practices and deliver the level of service clients expect

  • Promoting effective work practices, works as a team member, and shows respect for co-workers

  • Possess well-developed and professional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and interact effectively with people at all organisational levels of the firm

  • Demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment with a client-service focus

  • Display strong attention to detail and organisational skills needed to manage time well, prioritise effectively, and handle multiple events simultaneously



And have:





  • Previous experience in an events-focused role within a corporate organisation

  • Knowledge of event-specific systems, such as Cvent, preferably
