EDHECinfra maintains the infraMetrics® platform: an online information system that gives access to key market indices including the infra300® and infra100® series. InfraMetrics® also includes a wealth of valuation data and analytics, risk metrics, a fund strategy analysis tool providing robust performance quartiles for any segment, strategy or vintage, and peer group analyses allowing investors to compare themselves against comparable segments of the market.

Role

We are looking for a senior quantitative developer/ product engineer to develop and maintain the production systems that compute our market indices and analytics.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the research team to develop new analytics
Convert blueprints and proof-of-concepts into efficient production-ready code
Automate the production processes into Airflow pipelines
Monitor the monthly production runs and other computations to ensure indices and analytics are generated in a timely manner
Investigate and diagnose any validation checks failure
Implement automated checks to validate the production outputs
Explain the basic technical concepts behind the code to a non-technical audience
Present results and analysis in user-friendly visualisations

Requirements

8+ years of experience of professional coding
Experience with Python or R
Good knowledge of software development best practices
Good quantitative skills. Background/experience in statistics is preferred
Good problem-solving skills
Comfortable with Unix
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent field
