This role involves performing timely and accurate reconciliations to support performance calculation and reporting for our Clients. The incumbent will ensure the integrity of Performance reporting date in Performance Station (First Rate) and other performance systems

Key Objectives:

› Performs timely and accurate reconciliations to support performance calculation and reporting for our Clients
› Ensures integrity of Performance reporting date in Performance Station (First Rate) and other performance systems
› Ensures that client experience is superior and adheres to contractual SLA measures

Responsibilities:

Process management

› Demonstrates the ability to allocate time and resources appropriately to complete projects and meet deadlines
› Takes control of situations to ensure all objectives and deadlines are met to the customers satisfaction
› Participates in client calls and internal meetings
› Ensures adequate preparation and testing for all technology upgrades
› Facilitates a positive team atmosphere

Client Focus

› Monitors client directed service level agreements
› Ensures quality and accuracy of performance returns and benchmarks
› Possesses the ability to identify and coordinate resources to meet customer needs
› Understands clients business model and sensitivities
› Communicates complex technical information clearly and concisely in a timely fashion to clients, management and other team members
› Manages quality control standards

Other:

› Provide solid contribution to the user acceptance testing process through the initial implementation of the solution as well as subsequent releases of software
› Keep current (market conditions, regulation, SEI products and services etc) and maintain ongoing and effective communication and alignment of these with client business practices
› Acts as a point of contact and subject matter expert, regularly building knowledge and fielding queries on performance reporting within the team and wider organisation
› Maintains and updates internal systems/data reference points in agreed format to ensure consistency and communication of relevant information within the team and ensure integrity of data
› Understands all technical issues associated with performance reporting in the financial services industry
› Recommends and implements technology solutions for more accurate, effective and efficient reporting
› Any other ad hoc projects as required

Position Requirements 

Technical Capabilities/Skills & Experience Required for the Role:

› Degree (or equivalent) educated in business, finance or related field, or the equivalent in education and work experience
› Demonstrable experience of  investment performance analysis is preferred
› Knowledge of Global Investment Performance Standards (GiPS) is a plus
› Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Office. Knowledge and experience of Structured Query Language (SQL) preferred 
› Knowledge of global securities processing, participants, and industry standard formats and requirements is desirable
› Knowledge of security types including equity, fixed income and derivative instruments is desirable
› Knowledge of investment vehicles including registered funds, hedge funds, separate accounts and private accounts a plus
