BSM Group are representing a client seeking a Senior Manager.

  • Develop and lead the Enterprise and Operational Risk team in a professional manner to ensure that the team is effective and command a high standard of respect and creditability;
  • Establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders and relevant teams and parent company governance bodies to ensure ongoing risk management practices are understood and identified risks are addressed;

Team’s responsibilities include the following:

  • Maintain and run the Enterprise Risk Management process to identify and assess risks, and recommend appropriate mitigation activities to support achievement of the company’s strategic objectives;
  • Lead the identification, assessment, reporting and control of operational risk exposures across the Group in cooperation with regional Risk Teams;
  • Maintain overall responsibility for the governance and timely operation of the groups Incident Management Programme and the businesses Key Risk Indicator Programme;
  • Plan and deliver the Risk and Control Assessments of functional processes to identify risks, assess control adequacy and effectiveness and provide recommendations for their enhancements, where necessary;
  • Provide recommendations to the groups Governance Committees on operational risk reducing initiatives and their prioritization;
  • Provide operational risk sing-off for new products (gas, power, LNG, oil and oil products and markets);
  • Provide the single point of accountability for maintaining the framework of authorities and mandates; including performance of Risk inductions for new joiners, verification of trading mandates and administration of authorities and mandates;
  • Maintain and enhance Risk Policies, Procedures and Methodologies landscape
  • Coordinate the businesses Business Continuity Programme (BCP) and support the global BCP in regional offices, including support of critical staff planning, maintenance of the Work Area Recovery Site and liaison between IT, Business Units, Support Functions and the Crisis Management Team;
