Within Commercial Banking, Markets Operations & Trade Services is a Centre of Excellence, providing global operational delivery and support across multiple products and client segments to ensure best in class service.

We now have a unique opportunity to lead the Network Management team, managing key Commercial Banking relationships with nostro providers, clearing houses, CSDs and custodians. In this high profile role, you'll manage and develop stakeholder engagement, external market facing activities, industry engagement, vendor management and provide SME support for the delivery of key projects and change.

In terms of your background, it's essential you have demonstrable industry knowledge and experience of actively managing global relationships with other agent banks and financial markets infrastructure providers. In addition, you'll have as will the ability to lead and motivate a team within a fast paced environment and you'll be forward thinking and take ownership in driving new processing models that include digital solutions, keeping pace with an evolving external digital and regulatory landscape.
The role is based in London to provide close support to key stakeholders but requires engagement with internal and external teams across multiple, global locations and geographies.

Key accountabilities include:
*Own and manage all relevant relationships within the Group ensuring Markets Operations & Trade Services - working in partnership with all relevant parties in Governance and Control and design authorities.
*Working in partnership with other Operations functions, translate business plans into a clear functional strategy, contributing to the Operations Operating Plan which is in line with the overall strategy of the Markets Operations & Trade Services, Commercial Bank and Global Payments.
*Engage with industry developments appropriate to business area and the wider market and understand how the external environment, including the regulatory landscape will influence change within Markets Operations
*Lead, motivate, develop and appraise all team members to ensure their individual and collective performance is of the required standard and meets the current and future needs of the business and colleague
*Continually consider the personnel mix and structure of the business unit - ensure succession planning and talent profiling is a constant consideration.
*Ensure compliance with Group policy, procedures and guidelines, quality standards and all regulatory and statutory requirements. *Manage resources within agreed headcount budget for business unit - ensuring efficient resource allocation and consideration to known business plans and the project roadmap.
*Act as a point of reference and escalation, providing support, guidance and product knowledge to colleagues of all levels
*Always undertake the duties of the role in accordance with the requirements of the Bank's regulators, including the Principles for Business as outlined by the FCA.
*Assist key stakeholders with programme objectives, ensuring confidence in delivered solutions, ensuring they are market leading and support the implementation of change when required.
