Senior Manager - Regulatory Liaison
This leading European financial services group with multi-trillion Euro in assets held are currently looking to strengthen their leadership function in London by recruiting a Senior Manager to lead on their relationships with key regulatory bodies.
Within the role, you will use your considerable knowledge of regulations within the UK financial services industry to lead relationships with the FCA, the PRA and other regulators as necessary, understanding the current and future regulatory landscape and how this will impact the organisation as a whole. You will work with the leadership function to design and implement future strategy in response to regulatory change. It is expected you will have strong stakeholder management skills that will allow you to guide and influence where necessary internally. You will be responsible for the ongoing regulatory contact plan.
Externally, you will represent the organisation in front of the regulators, gaining a detailed understandings of their expectations of the organisation and building a constructive two-way dialogue with them, reporting and successes or challenges where required. You will also be involved in the submission of any notifications or other filings.
This role will suit someone who has considerable experience liaising with the Regulators in another financial services business, or with a consultancy advising on regulatory compliance, or alternatively someone who has spent part of their career working for Regulators either in the UK or internationally. You will have a strong business mind, as well as strong analytical skills to be able to quickly and accurately understand volumes of information.
This is a challenging, but crucial role within the organisation that will have high visibility both internally and externally.
