The salary range for this role is up to £65,000 (plus London weighting of £3,883) with the ability to pay a higher salary to a candidate with exceptional skills and experience.

A bit about the role...
This is an exciting time to join Homes England, the government’s housing delivery Agency. We have the resources, influence and diverse expertise to drive positive market change through our significant investment activity. Homes England is responsible for deploying over £20bn of government funding to unlock and accelerate housing delivery in England. The government has put housing at the heart of its agenda and the Agency is at the forefront of that commitment with a mission to intervene in the market to ensure more homes are built in areas of greatest need to improve affordability.
As a senior manager in the South East and East development finance team you will recommend development finance loans typically in the range of £1m- £15m from the £4.5bn Home Building Fund to support SMEs in the South East and East of England and the delivery of other policy objectives such as regeneration and innovation in construction.
A bit about you…
You will be a self-starter with a ‘can do’ approach, driven and motivated to deliver against our goals. You will be resilient and comfortable managing stakeholders at all levels and your discussions will always be shaped by a good understanding of the commercial and strategic impact of what we do, both within the development finance team and the wider Agency.
As an experienced and appropriately qualified real estate finance professional you will be used to "spinning several plates" at once, able to manage a pipeline of transactions at various stages whilst contributing to wider Agency projects. You will understand the need to balance risk and reward when structuring transactions and have a keen eye for detail. You will be able to easily communicate your technical expertise to non-subject matter experts and be a strong team player, demonstrating that you can work collaboratively, in an inclusive way.

We are the Government’s national housing agency. Our role is to accelerate the pace of house-building across the country, particularly in areas where there are the most serious affordability issues – meaning people are struggling to find homes.
We have the appetite, influence, expertise and resources to drive positive market change and meet the Government’s ambition to deliver 300,000 new homes a year. We are using our land, influence, funds and knowledge to increase the pace, scale and quality of new homes accelerating delivery in areas of greatest demand and helping create great places to live.
