The Company:

An award winning Proprietary trader, with offices based in central London. Seeking a talented Senior Java Developer to join the business and help replicate the success of their Chicago offices.

The Role:

As a Senior Java Developer you will be working Front office with traders and the development team. Your role will require you to work closely with traders and understand their needs in order to build tools which can help the business create venue in real time. Furthermore, custom development, implementation and integration of vendor products, and enhancement/support or existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong Java Development (Hands On)
• Exposure of working on Linux platforms
• Extensive Multithreading use
• Experience on options pricing/ risk management/ inventory

Qualifications:

• Strong exposure of Java
• Experience of Multithreading programming and distributed application design/Architecture
• Strong analytical capability and problem solving
• Source code and working in a Linux environment
