Tradition is the interdealer broking arm of Compagnie Financière Tradition and one of the world's largest interdealer brokers in over-the-counter financial and commodity related products. CFT is represented in over 28 countries, employing over 2,500 people.

Tradition is currently seeking to appoint an experienced Senior IT Team Leader/2nd Line Support to be based in the London office.

Main responsibilities within the Senior IT Team Leader/2nd Line Support position include:

Performance management for team (including appraisals & job descriptions)
Delegate tasks within support team
Oversee and maintain that all LanDesk tickets are updated, resolved and closed correctly in a timely manner
Work with hardware providers to resolve issues
Work on projects requested by the HOS manager and reporting back in a timely fashion
Supervising the support team
Working with Desk Heads in organising moves and changes
Attend and fix any 2nd line hardware PC problems
Attend and fix any 2nd line Software related problems
Attend and fix any 2nd line voice related problems
Attend and fix any 2nd line application software problems
Work with project team and 3rd line support when required
Attend and fix any dealer board problems
Attend and fix any network problems
Overseeing PC’s as required checking that the necessary software is loaded properly in addition to standard Build.
Overseeing Laptop builds as required.
Install P.C's and Laptops as when needed.
Make all amendments to Opentrade Administration (dealer board system) as appropriate
Facilitate new line testing
Responsible for reporting line faults and ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner
Investigate long term issues and report findings to relevant parties, eg network, server etc
Supplier and client relations
Any other duties that may reasonably be requested

Key skills and experience required in this role:

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft products, Windows XP,WIN7, Office etc.
Knowledge of network troubleshooting at first /second line level
Good knowledge of Hardware
Knowledge of Cisco, CUCM, IPC/Etrali
Knowledge of Dealer board systems would be advantageous.
Knowledge of Linux systems would be advantageous.

Due to the nature of the role you may be required to work extended hours at short notice to complete the work required to meet the business needs
May be required to be on-call or to work occasional weekends
At times Monitoring phone and mails out of hours

9hr Shift pattern between 06:00 - 18:30
