We are recruiting a Senior HR Business Partner, an exciting role which will partner with the business in the development and delivery of robust people initiatives and organisational change across the business.

This is a highly proactive and senior partnering role, which will drive high levels of strategic HR activity across the business through senior stakeholder engagement and influencing.  The successful candidate will be an experienced and seasoned professional who will partner with CEO’s and their Senior Leadership teams.

The successful candidate will have a track record of working both at pace and on their own initiative across the full HR agenda in order to deliver results, whilst demonstrating high levels of personal initiative, commercial acumen and strategic thinking.  They will also be able to deliver through others, show passion for change, be able to generate excitement and lead in a way which inspires action and focused delivery.



Job Description


Strategic Focus

  • Accountability for delivery of the end to end local people plan, driving tangible business value across specific business lines
  • Develop and proactively deliver robust people initiatives across the business, drawing on experience and insight to drive commercial impact whilst building sustainability through robust delivery and great HR practices
  • Proactively partner with the business unit CEO’s and their senior leadership teams, including HR Centers of Excellence, in order to develop and roll out people initiatives across the full HR agenda

Operational Management

  • Collaborate with other parts of the HR function to facilitate the delivery of annual processes that drive greater business value through people i.e. compensation processes, annual performance management process and learning programmes
  • Support and advise on ongoing employment policy development and employee relations activities i.e. disciplinary, grievance, dismissal and TUPE.  Also including the ongoing compliance to employment regulation and law
  • Work with recruitment teams to drive employer branding initiatives and to enhance the overall talent acquisition process

People Leadership

  • Build a high performing HR Business partnering team that delivers over a sustained period as a result of strong leadership, operational planning and robust HR practices
  • Support the development and growth of a business partnering community across the business, through strong leadership behaviours

Governance and Risk

  • Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements
  • Support Link Group assurance programs that deliver effective risk management and compliance practices



Qualifications
 

  • Degree-educated or relevant professional qualifications (CIPD) desirable, not essential
  • Technical competence in all aspects of employment law and policies required
  • In depth experience working proactively with senior executives across the full HR agenda with ability to influence key decision-makers, make decisions and to challenge when necessary
  • Broad experience in the design and delivery of people initiatives, including the mobilisation and delivery of HR related projects across senior levels of the organisation
  • Open and engaging leadership behaviours, ability to lead others in a fast-paced environment whilst prioritizing multiple tasks, across different locations
  • Resilient, execution and delivery focused
  • Prepared and flexible to travel in line with business needs
