Our client, a leading London-based private equity fund advisory business specialising in the African market, are looking to hire a Senior Fund Accountant to join their highly regarded finance team. The company currently has two active funds and are looking to make a number of new investments throughout 2019 to add to their already impressive portfolio. Although the role will be based in London, it holds the opportunity for some travel and the chance to work closely with the finance and investment teams. This is an incredibly broad role and will allow significant exposure. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Co-ordinate the preparation of quarterly investor reporting, including detailed financial statements and notes
  • Review and oversee financial information prepared by third-party fund administrators
  • Prepare / review quarterly valuations in accordance with the international private equity and venture captial valuation guidelines
  • Manage drawdown and distribution activity
  • Prepare reports in accordance with investor side letters and respond to investor queries
  • Co-ordinate the preparation of annual financial statements
  • Review quarterly management accounts for the manager, fund vehicles and all associated entities
  • Develop fund accounting processes and systems
  • Review and implement new reporting, accounting and tax developments across the group
  • Liaise with the deals team on accounting and deal execution aspects of transactions

YOUR PROFILE:
  • Experience within the private equity or real asset investment space
  • Qualified Accountant with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent IT and modelling skills
  • Able to take responsibility and work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a pro-active approach
