Investment Management Technology provides systems development, implementation and support services for our global Investment Management division. We support Fund Managers, Research Analysts and Traders in all of our international locations, including London, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Mumbai.
Purpose of your role
This role is for a Full Stack Developer (Java and Angular Developer) in the Charles River (CRD) development team. The team builds the Java Integration layer which sits between Charles River and other platforms, and enhancements such as custom web screens (written in Angular).
This role will be responsible for delivering enhancements to the FX, Fixed Income Trading, Equity Trading, Compliance and Fund Trading workstreams.
The successful candidate will be well versed in agile techniques and will be passionate about delivering high quality, robust and well tested solutions for the business.
The successful candidate will be a Java expert and will be able to design modern, high performance solutions to complex business problems. The successful candidate will also have significant experience with the Angular web stack. The candidate will have an investment management or investment banking background and will be able to understand financial products and trading systems.
The successful candidate will be expected to work well with the wider team, including Business Analysts, Testers, Project Managers and Infrastructure teams. Activities will include reviewing and documenting requirements, analysing and implementing the design and providing testing strategies for their work.
The successful candidate will be expected to be able to communicate effectively with traders, business analysts and wider project team in order to deliver the requirements successfully.
