SENIOR DIGITAL CONSULTANT

We are looking for a Senior Digital Consultant to join a team that is going to help transform the financial services top-to-bottom by helping our clients build exciting new propositions combined with outstanding digital transformation. Our aim is to build the financial companies of the future.

TORI are headquartered in the City of London and have presence in New York, Singapore and Bangalore.

What you’ll be doing:

When not working for a client, work may include:

  • Taking an active lead in shaping new services, propositions and methodologies, supported by recognised industry frameworks where necessary
  • Responding and often coordinating responses to RFPs (Request for Proposal)
  • Scanning the market and building relationships with specialist 3rd party alliance partners
  • Attending sales meetings and winning new business
  • Helping shape and refine TORI’s strategy where required
  • Conducting research that will inform proposals or new propositions
  • Managing or mentoring more junior members of staff

When working on a client assignment, work may include:

  • Acting as Engagement Lead for assignments that sit within your area of specialism (i.e. digital)
  • Advising clients on topics such as: Strategy, Business model development, Operating model development, Product development, UX/Customer Experience & Technology choices and practices
  • Running a team of consultants and associates 
  • Minimising risk to the engagement and removing blockers
  • Being responsible for commercial aspects of the engagemen

The Essentials:

  • You are creative and have outstanding communications skills – characterised by the ability to distil complex topics and present them in a meaningful way to non-technical people (using a range of media)
  • You are brilliant at stakeholder engagement and have experience in client-facing roles previously.
  • You have an excellent understanding of technology and are at home when discussing software development, infrastructure and development practices (such as agile and DevOps).
  • You have designed, built and operated products/services/propositions before
  • You have a genuine interest for FinTech (including RegTech and InsurTech)
  • You are a consummate salesperson and have experience in pitching work and convincing stakeholders of the merits in your proposal
  • You enjoy working in a team and look to bring the best out of others
  • 5+ Years of Financial Service/Consultancy experience
  • Commercial and business acumen

The Nice to Haves:

  • You were a Software Developer at some point in your career
  • You have experience in product development and prototyping
  • You have a deep understanding of enterprise architecture at a technical level
  • You have developed and nurtured junior talent
