BNP Paribas Asset Management aims at building up and developing a portfolio of institutional clients on Liquidity Solutions products, i.e. Money Market funds and Short Term bonds. The client scope is ranging from Insurance Companies, Pension Funds and own assets of Asset Managers and Banks within the UK.

Aquire new business via both potential/new and existing clients in coordination with the local Head of Institutional Sales
Develop and establish strong cooperation with local BNP Paribas Asset Management sales units and other units of BNPP Group especially Corporate Institutional Banking and BNP Paribas Securities Services in coordination with the local Head of Institutional Sales
Execute the commercial Liquidity Solutions’ strategy in the country, in line with the given KPI's

Ensure all sales related procedures and processes from client acceptance, activity reporting via CRM systems (SalesForce) are implemented and observed
Advise Sales Management on market developments and potential new strategies

Essential Skills/Competencies

Significant business development experience with focus on institutional investors, Asset Management background is a plus
Experience in dealing and conversing, including in-depth strategic discussions, with clients and prospects at a senior executive level
Desire and ability to grow into being capable of servicing a diversity of client backgrounds with respective constraints
Product/technical knowledge across the Liquidity Solutions strategies and main features including investment processes, trading procedures and after sales follow up of advantage
Networking ability
High commitment, energy and ‘drive’ to succeed in an international and diverse commercial environment
Strong all-round communication skills with an ability to influence and negotiate
Ability to deliver timely solutions to client requests (in a systematic manner), deal with multiple requests simultaneously and demonstrate priority management
Proactive way of working with a sense for improvements
Team work, ability to work with colleagues and other departments is crucial
Very good command English, other foreign languages is a plus
Good command of MS Office (especially Excel and Powerpoint)
