The Opportunity:

The successful candidate will display strong Business Analysis skills and be easily able to transcend delivery focus on Technology, Operations and Front Office. The candidate will need to have strong experience within the Derivatives sector in particular with regulatory regulations related to Derivatives such as Dodd Frank, MiFID II, EMIR.

The Role will not be confined to the derivatives space and the candidate will need to be open to working on different elements of regulation affecting different areas of M&G.

You will be responsible for the following tasks:


*Familiarity with EMIR Regulation and in particular reporting of Derivatives trades in accordance with the ESMA Level 2 and 3 Directives.
*A good working knowledge of Trade Repositories (GTR in particular) and messaging protocols and formats
*The ability to produce business/regulatory change documentation including BRDs, functional specifications and testing approaches and planning.
*Good product knowledge of OTC Derivatives and Forward FX traded bilaterally as well as associated documents (ISDAs and CSAs).
*Provide Project Management support to the Programme Director and assist in production of project reporting, governance and control (RAID logs etc).
*Liaise with other functional groups, particularly in IT and Operations, as well as the Front Office, Legal and Compliance.
*Exposure to MiFID2 and areas of overlap with EMIR in relation to derivatives trade reporting.

*A good understanding of Collateral Management associated with OTC derivatives trading including non-cleared margin.

What we are looking for:

You will have knowledge around OTC Clearing and associated market infrastructures Clearing Brokers, Clearing Houses (LCH), Custodians, Third Party Agents and Delegated Reporting Service Providers. You will also have had exposure to external vendors such as Markit and will familiar with regulations such as the Dodd-Frank and EMIR, MiFID II.

In terms of skill set, you will be a self-starter with previous experience of delivering on Derivative projects and working with stakeholders at different levels including Director level. The ability to constructively challenge and influence business users is essential for this position, as well as excellent attention to detail and determination to see initiatives through to completion. You will have strong problem solving and analytical skills, as well as excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables. The ability to work independently as well as part of a project team is also highly important, alongside being proactive and delivery focussed with excellent communication skills - both written and verbal. You will also have a genuine interest in expanding your knowledge and understanding of the challenges and developments impacting operations and systems in the Asset Management industry.
