Senior Analyst role (Manager-in-training)

CIL is an award-winning strategy consulting firm with a market-leading position within our niche. Most of our engagements involve an M&A element, primarily to advise private equity firms who are looking to invest in high growth businesses in the UK, Europe and the US.

The role:

CIL is looking for exceptional people to join our team as Senior Analysts. A Senior Analyst is a ‘Manager-in-training’ – you might be responsible for running a significant workstream under the guidance of one of our experienced project managers, or managing a smaller project in its own right. You will be expected to take a large amount of responsibility from an early stage, often working directly for a member of the senior team and in a client-facing role from the outset.

This role is an exciting opportunity for those with project management experience (e.g. in FDD, corporate finance, equity research, accounting or audit) to use their skills in a strategy consulting context. You will be given structured training during your induction and the opportunity to learn the ropes under more experienced peers for your first three to six months; we will ensure you feel confident taking your first steps into the beginning of your new career.

Typically, our external Senior Analyst hires have between three and five years of combined experience, however we encourage all candidates who feel they meet our criteria to apply, regardless of the number of years of experience they currently hold.
