RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
Product Manager

These tools help to transform and simplify client experiences while generating new revenue streams and business models for a leader in global financial markets. Our product managers are entrepreneurially-minded and solve complex business, technical, and design challenges that touch billions of dollars in transaction volume.

Marquee Space is the digital storefront of the Third Party Distribution (TPD) business at Goldman Sachs, delivering structured products content, analytics, origination, execution and post sales capability directly to private bank clients across the globe. It is used widely by both clients and our sales teams, automating complex workflows for derivatives payoffs across asset classes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and drive product strategy for Marquee Space in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understand the competitive environment in depth across single-issuer and multi-issuer platforms, jurisdictions, payoffs and asset classes.
  • Engage with private banks and sales to understand their needs and identify new opportunities.
  • Identify market opportunities and build business case for new features, products, and revenue streams.
  • Identify synergies with wider Marquee initiatives and leverage existing products and features where possible.
  • Understand Goldman Sachs' strategic advantages and deliver products that are the best in the financial and technology industries
  • Prioritize potential initiatives by understanding alignment with business strategy and value generated for current and future users
  • Launch products in coordination with senior stakeholders, engineers, designers, marketing, sales, legal, compliance, operations, and support
  • Identify, collect, and analyze metrics to measure product success

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of commercial experience as a product manager for a financial digital platform
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders in a revenue focused environment
  • BA/BS in a technical field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Exceptional communication, writing, and interpersonal skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Structured products origination experience across jurisdictions.
  • Cross asset class experience covering equities, rates, FX and commodities derivatives.
