Sales & Marketing – Leading Hedge Fund – LANGUAGES REQUIRED – 50-60k base + bonus
London, England, United Kingdom
A multi-billion dollar AUM hedge fund, with market leading 2019 performance, are looking to make a new hire in to its expanding sales & marketing function.
The hire will be solely dedicated to a European Head of Sales. Your role will be to ensure that the sales professional can focus purely on raising assets, whilst you perform all work around the sales/marketing process to ensure that the asset raising process/investor pitches run as smoothly as possible. The role covers numerous geographies + exposure to a broad range of investors (financial institutions, pension funds and institutional investors) in those regions. As a result, the hire will get to regularly use language skills in this role – more specifically German, Italian and/or French (you will be targeted to manage investors/a region that you are most comfortable with).
We feel that it is the perfect role for a budding sales professional (of the past 3 hires made under this sales professional, 2 are now marketers for the firm and the other is a marketer in the middle east for another firm) or somebody looking for a longstanding career in buy-side investor relations, an opportunity that you can carve out within the company from this role. There is no better opportunity to learn, hands-on + on the job, than this.
We are looking for candidates with 2-5yrs experience, currently working in marketing support/investor relations roles. We are looking for a fluent German, Italian or French speaker ideally. You will be hard working, patient and organised.
The firm have a phenomenal culture and are very much focused on professional development and mentoring internally. The role can guarantee an attractive increase on base salary and roughly a 40/50% year one bonus for a strong performer. The hire will also receive an excellent benefit package + will be part of the 2019/2020 profit share scheme. The firm an extremely low attrition.
