My client is a high-quality hedge fund and private markets platform is looking to hire a Sales Manager to report into the Head of Sales coving mainly the Italian and Lugano region. This is an important new position for the strategic growth of the firm to the next level.
The Role:
Responsible bringing in new clients and developing deeper relationships with existing clients.
Helping grow the pipeline of clients in the Italian/Lugano and supporting with efforts in the UK and Switzerland.
Mentoring and coaching junior members of the sales team.
Establish and foster partnerships and deepen relationships with existing clients.
Striving to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
Work in conjunction with the product team to help optimise the current fund offering and bring ideas for new areas of growth
Work collaboratively across the teams - including marketing, operations, product and executive team.
Requirements
Strong academic background
Strong, demonstrable experience within a sales function in asset management including working with institutional investors and wholesale investors.
Broad asset class knowledge, ideally with liquid alternatives or hedge fund experience, with private markets a bonus.
You are able to work on multiple tasks and manage unforeseen urgencies
You have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Able to work with teams across a range of departments
