The Sales Manager will be tasked with delivering performance against objectives set at the start of each half-year period and recruiting and retaining high quality BDMs from inside and outside of financial services.In additoion you will be required to support the induction of new BDMs, helping them reach acceptable levels of competence.
The role requires someone who has previously been in a sales role within Financial Services and has developed into a role where they have supervised or managed sales people ad a lot of the role involves developing the BDMs to improve technical knowledge, call quality and sales skills. Much of the sales improvement will be through tesm planning, regular 1:2:1's and individual and team coaching/training sessions.
This is a KPI/target driven sales environment so the Sales Manager will need to help monitor the team performance in a range of relevant metrics in addition to incentivising the team and identifying areas of personal development.
This broad and exciting role will be managing a team of high performers and will require the individual to ensure that individually and collectively, the team continues to perform at high levels whilst meeting and ideally exceeding all sales tragets.
This would suit someone with a background in sales within Financial Services with a level of managerial/supervisory role now looking to work in a purely managerial/strategy related role. This is Lomdon based and IFA/intermediary sales experienced desirable but not essential.
