Sales Development Representatives at CFRA establish partnerships with propspective clients at Wealth Management firms, Hedge Funds, Mutual Funds, Pensions & Endowments, Independent Advisors, Online Brokers and Corporations. They are responsible for identifying new CFRA clients by proactively researching firms, individual contacts and generating interest through a variety of outreach channels. They will introduce future clients to CFRA’s leading equity research and forensic accounting research, data, analytics and advisory services. The position offers upward potential into more senior sales or account management opportunities based meeting performance objectives.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist Sales Reps with drving revenue
  • Develope prospect lists, analyze potential client data and conduct research to clean up target company details prior to outreach
  • Assist in creating Marketing Campaigns including email, webinar, partners tradeshows, and events
  • Generate leads through individual research, outbound calling, email communications, and other direct marketing cadences
  • Organize meetings between senior team members and contacts at prospective clients
  • Schedule and participate in demonstrations of CFRA’s products and services
  • Guarantee successful handoff of prospects to senior Sales staff
  • Track and log activities through the Salesforce
  • Execute on Ad hoc projects 

Desired Skills & Experience: 

  • 2-3 years of professional experience in the financial or information services industry
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Ability to identify new opportunities and document outreach efforts
  • Strong organization and time management skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
  • Ability to work well independently as well as part of a larger team
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Interest in financial markets, investment research and analysis
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Powerpoint, Word, and Excel required
  • Experience with Salesforce a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong communication skills
  • Team player
  • Ability to ‘think outside the box’ to generate new leads
  • Self motivated with a desire to grow
