SVP-HR Regional Lead

Location: London, England, United Kingdom

The Regional HR Leader is responsible for HR operations and service delivery in the region with oversight of cross-functional HR projects and processes. This role is directly accountable for the regional Talent Acquisition and HR Connect teams with broad oversight of the other HR functions in the region. This role is responsible for the engagement of the regional HR team and monitoring the resourcing and capabilities of the HR functional teams. The role reports to the Managing Director of Strategic Initiatives and Operations. This individual will be a member of the extended HR Leadership team that informs and influences the development and implementation of enterprise wide HR programs and will be expected to regularly interact with the CHRO's senior leadership team.

• Plans, organizes, and coordinates Talent Acquisition and HR Connect activities across business units and HR functions in the region.
• Coordinates HR Department activities to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, policies, regulations and best practices in the region and countries.
• Builds and maintains strong relationships with senior business leaders as the senior HR representative in the region.
• Assists with the regional implementation and evaluation of HR programs, processes, systems and tools.
• Oversees the regional Talent Acquisition and HR Connect functions.
• Serve as a senior resource and escalation point for ER, D&I and Total Rewards.
• Oversees HR resourcing in the region and identifies gaps in staff size and capabilities; works with global HR leaders to address resourcing needs appropriately.
• Manages employee engagement for the HR team.

HR Administration

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience managing HR functions in a region with increasing level of responsibility in leading cross functional HR operations and service delivery.
• Demonstrated ability lead HR processes and systems change to meet the growing needs of a global business and leading change.
• Excellent relationship management capabilities, increasingly at senior levels of a regional organization
• Experience working in a matrixed HR model - corporate, functional and geographic - particularly with US headquartered multinational.
• Excellent collaboration, communication and influencing skills.
• Demonstrated capability to juggle multiple and competing priorities
• Ability to translate HR operational needs and requirement into program and process solutions.
• Has the ability and desire to coach and mentor junior staff
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
