This role will provide Netweaver deep technical support for Kingfisher SAP Applications and have the ability to deputise for the Manager level if required. This role is involved with the full lifecycle (design, build, implementation & service transition) of business and infrastructure change programme and be responsible for all Netweaver aspects in project design and build discussions/decisions. You'll be responsible for the end to end delivery of all Netweaver project activities, including task management and planning to ensure sufficient people to appropriately deliver. You'll ensure planning for all SAP technical activities are tracked, plans are up-to-date and communicated.

Responsibilities

You'll help train, support and mentor other members of the team and Help co-ordinate all SAP technical activities with 3 rd parties and have full involvement in the ITIL process to ensure the collective team meets the SLA target across service management processes.

You'll help ensure incidents in the incident queue are managed through to resolution and be responsible for the administration of Service Now tickets and 3 rd party ticketing systems, ensure consistency with plans alongside Ensuring planning for all SAP technical activities are tracked, plans are up-to-date and communicated.

Where required, you'll work to resolve problems and propose new technical solutions to the SAP Architect and Support the SAP Architect and Netweaver Team Mgmt in technology decision making. You'll develop and support monitoring and management of SAP systems using Solution Manager and deliver to project and production SLA's.

You'll propose and implement new maintenance procedures of SAP Applications and pro-actively identify improvements to service and actively work on Service Improvement Plans, you'll develop and champion agreed high standards and help to maintain up to date documentation and on-call support.

You'll be part of the permanent team accountable for Incident and problem resolution within designed Service Levels ensuring Incident/request/problem resolution within designed Service Levels (via 3 rd party mgmt.) and ensure change management processes are adhered to and tasks processed within SLA's.

Qualifications

You'll have excellent problem solving/management skills, involvement in 3 rd line problem resolution for all Kingfisher SAP systems and an ability to prepare and present incident/problem solution ideas to all levels as well as ability to deep dive SAP systems for root cause analysis and be able to clearly present findings or recommendations to peers/management.

You'll have excellent, proven understanding of SAP systems with significant experience in Netweaver subject areas (key areas include R/3, ECC6, BW/BI, BOBJ, BODS, SAP Cloud Platform, Fiori, Web Dispatchers, F&R and IDM) and a good working knowledge of Solution Manager.

You'll have knowledge of HANA and experience of working in large scale environments. Good expertise in AIX, Linux, and Windows Operating Systems is a must, as well as good expertise of in some or all database systems such as Oracle 10g, 11g, 12g, Sybase, SQL, DB2.

You'll be able to manage change and support the transport processes across different SAP technologies, including the use of tools like CTS+, Transport Expresso as well as working knowledge of Networks. You'll have a good understanding of backups and supporting technologies and be customer focused and actively manages customer expectations.

Good ITIL awareness with a working knowledge of Change, Incident, and Problem management techniques and an embracer of change. You'll be adaptable and a quick learner who is willing to listen, proactive communicator who can communicate effectively at all levels and well organised, methodical, and conscientious.

You'll be a strong team player and be able to work independently when required representing the team in a professional manner, open and honest and keen to provide constructive feedback
