This Business Risk & Controls Manager supports the Communications Function. You will consult and deliver effective controls to support risk management, and implement risk requirements. In addition, you will serve as lead on information security risk, and expand and develop the wider network of risk managers across the banking group. Lastly, a key part is to manage risk and control assessments and produce MI analysis and reports for senior management and leading stakeholders.
My client – a leading global banking group – is looking for an established and confident Business Risk and Controls Manager to look after the Communications function. This is a first line of defence role with a high level of interaction with senior stakeholders across multiple areas such as Operational Risk, Procurement, Legal, and Regulatory Compliance.
This is a generalist role with a broad remit of activity and would suit someone who can work autonomously and independently
Working autonomously this person will advise and design global controls for the typical risks experienced in the communications sphere. These include information security, reputational risk, issues surrounding bribery and corruption and internal policy breaches.
The role is not just advisory however, there’s a strong component of developing and creating materials to help shape the bank’s approach to third party and information risk within Communications, and helping to design processes and frameworks that optimise business activity and best practices for managing all kinds of risk.
Finally, other responsibilities include supporting risk assessment processes, producing global MI analysis and getting involved with the wider risk manager network across the bank.
Comp is up to £75,000 depending on experience, with potentially more on offer for the right candidate.
If this interests you, or you know someone who might suit, please get in touch on 020 3874 2419 or firstname.lastname@example.org for an informal, confidential discussion about this or any other roles currently live.
