Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Marpl UK, the Risk framework officer is responsible for administrating the data on a consistent and secure way allowing for the appropriate control, quality checks, certification and delivery in official repositories. The RF analyst also monitor the Marpl scope of action for ensuring the constant regulatory compliance (TB/BB, eligibility to IMA,...) and governing the relevant referentials along a clear governance. The Risk Framework Officer will work in close collaboration with a second Risk framework analyst. Main responsibilities and duties of the role: (shared with a second risk framework analyst) • Centralising the flows of all data used inside the MARPL ecosystem for addressing data consistency and general quality (BCBS239 compliance) through data collection (either from external sources or from FO), data control, data validation and finally data feed in FO systems and official repositories. • Getting ability to define coherent KPIs and monitor the data capture and delivery inside and outside MARPL. • Ensuring relevant management of the scope of eligibility for MARPL, and the appropriate governance for all referentials for which MARPL gets the ownership, or has second level control duties on. • Bringing together the general Independent Price Verification (IPV) process and all econometric needs at the MARPL level. Data quality, repositories and sandbox monitoring Main missions are: Sandbox monitoring • Ensuring at any point in time, for MARPL ecosystem, the appropriate exhaustive, consistent and up-to-date vision of its bounds. This includes in particular monitoring of the IMA/SA perimeters, the list of portfolios falling in the Trading book and the Banking book, the scope of responsibilities of MARPL with regards to its various duties (monitoring of risks, P&L production/certification, scope of application of existing SLAs - notably BPCE; CC production and analysis, etc...). • Maintaining the Methodological guide defining all risk indicators as well as centralising the official list of risk factors as defined in FRTB (including the list of MRF/NMRFs) • Defining, centralising and analysing the outputs from Risk Monitoring and Liquidity & Advisory Group on the Trading/Banking frontier. This includes the qualitative monitoring and reporting of the IRT desk(s), and liaising with the Financial Division on this matter. Repositories • Administration of all repositories for which MARPL leads the governance • Liaising with the Data Office for the global follow up of repositories • Definition and monitoring of all stakeholders, feeders and clients interactions on the related repositories • Production and reporting of the data quality KPIs defined on the related repositories • Lead of the Book Manager/Book transfer workflow • Piloting the feeding process and mapping updates for the core MARPL repositories (MDM, Risk Factors, Risk Sensitivities, Susanoo, etc...) • Overseeing the updates of the IMA/SA, TB/BB, SRAB/Volker/FRTB Desks cartographies in MARPL's referentials Data quality • Operating the data quality control of BOP ("Base des Opérations") • Responsible for the methodology and the consistency of the data quality control applied on MARPL' scope • Performance monitoring for data quality and data availability through relevant KPIs • Communication related to data quality and controls that are still to be implemented or to necessary amendments • Contributing to the bi-monthly « Data Quality » committees • Ensuring the data quality related CPN1 controls for the department and follow up of the action plan associated

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience
• BSc / BEng / MSc / MEng or equivalent experience required • Very Good level of English (written and verbal) Qualifications: • Very good level in mathematics • Very good knowledge of programming languages (for example VBA and SQL) and standard office tools (Excel..) • Very good knowledge of derivatives / exotics products Communication: • Oral and written communication with the front office, master of work, and other inspection services. Sense of dialogue. • Develop the role to be centre of analysis for IPV Commo Other: • Rigorous approach, organizational skills, good writing skills
