A leading private equity business is looking for a research associate to join its team and support the investor relations and capital raising of funds, and investment and origination of deals.

A leading private equity business is looking for a research associate to join its team and support the investor relations and capital raising of funds, and investment and origination of deals.

You will be researching and analysing financial markets, through the use of both internal and external data sources, to create insightful, high-impact communications materials including presentations and reports. These will be used to support the raising and investment of the funds. You will be required to use both written content and financial modelling of statistics so a high level of financial literacy is required. You will prepare research on private equity market trends and industry topics, in addition to competitor fundraising and investment activity, ensuring all internal stakeholders are up to date. You will prepare materials for senior professionals to use when speaking at conferences, including Q&A's and briefing notes, to support the firm's engagement with institutional investors.

Previous experience in financial markets is required with a strong financial literacy and analytical skills. Experience in private equity or investment management would be an advantage. You must have strong written communications and be confident with interpretation of market, business and economic data. You must be confident working with various internal and external senior stakeholders.
