The Operations Regulatory Reporting Production team are responsible for ensuring the company meets its regulatory obligation for key regulatory reports including MiFID and EMIR reporting. You will be responsible to provide controls and oversight for clients reporting’s, monitor the daily rejections, running of frequent reconciliations and cater to adhoc client requests.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Develop expert knowledge in regulatory requirements, processes and systems for EMIR reporting Build relationships within the team, with ITEC, other upstream Operations teams, Client Services, Projects, Compliance, Front Office and other areas.
  • Investigation and analysis of systems /flows / data required to identify root-cause, required for both internal and client issues.
  • Prioritise, investigate and remediate issues and develop control improvements –Involvement in the longer term strategic development of the transaction reporting and related systems.
  • Involvement in change affecting the existing process, whether internal such as systems, business models, new products) or external (such as market or regulatory changes) as well as new regulatory reporting obligations
  • Responsibility for managing, controlling, preparing and escalating risk within the scope of your position

 

Requirements:

  • Good banking experience to include extensive cross product knowledge from an operations background –
  • Hands on experiences with DPS - Dynamic portfolio swaps
  • Strong understanding of the global regulatory environment, with emphasis on regulatory reporting, particularly EMIR reporting
  • Solid, understanding of financial markets, trading and clearing of derivatives (Futures and Options) and OTC products (Equities, Securities, currencies) and particularly the processes within these areas of Operations.
  • Experience in the technical domain, data analysis and presentations tools (Excel, PowerPoint and Visio)
  • Strong numerical, analytical and organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills, both aural and written, to include strong procedure and writing skills.
