Reporting, Risk, Analytics and Platforms Analyst
There is opportunity for you to join our Group Treasury team, specifically in our EMEA Reporting, Risk, Analytics and Platforms team at an analyst level. The Reporting, Risk, Analytics and Platforms team are responsible for prudential calculations, external/internal reporting, advanced analytics and supporting platforms. In this role, you will be focusing on the production of capital and liquidity forecasting.

The London Reporting, Risk, Analytics and Platforms team is responsible for a broad range of internal and external reporting requirements for the Macquarie Group within the EMEA region, working closely with the Risk Management Group, other areas of the Financial Management Group, Business Unit finance teams and the Group Treasury team in Australia.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the production of capital and liquidity forecasting, focusing on the keys 2021 regulatory deliverables encompassing for:
  • ICCAP
  • ILAAP
  • Recover Plans
  • Resolution plans.


You will also be involved in the production of the Pillar 3 regulatory disclosures for the regulated entities and developing a key control framework across entities. You will be supporting the implementation of upcoming regulatory changes and developments, assessing the impact of these on the capital and liquidity forecasting.

To be successful in the role, you will have:
  • knowledge of the current EU/international prudential regime, including Basel, CRD / CRR, and the Pillar 1 & 2
  • the ability to understand and evaluate an extensive body of rules and apply them effectively in a complex business environment particularly in relation to capital and liquidity reporting and forecasting
  • strong relationship management skills and an ability to interface with a broad cross-section of individuals
  • a well organised and methodical approach
  • a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • time management skills and an ability to work to deadlines.

You will also be a team player, willing to help wherever required; you will have a practical and well organised approach to work, with demonstrable history of delivering to deadlines; the ability to apply judgement and to escalate issues where appropriate; experience in Regulatory Reporting; experience working with systems processing large volumes of data, and the controls required to manage such systems, will be well regarded.
