Our client is an impressive global asset manager who has created a new SME Regulatory Reporting role to assume all aspects of the in-scope reporting regimes including the regulators rationale, high level framework and the application of their scope.
Candidates will have experience and knowledge of the full trade life cycle of Equity, Fixed Income and Derivative for trading venue and OTC trading coupled with significant regulatory reporting (trade and transaction reporting) experience of MIFID & EMIR regulations to be considered.
This role will be responsible for overseeing the mandatory reporting obligations such as EMIR, MIFID, Hong Kong OTC and Australia OTC and Take Over Panel. Therefore knowledge of ASIC would be a distinct advantage. In addition, candidates will come from a financial services firm and will demonstrate a strong ability to carve out and develop regulatory reporting for new regimes which offers enormous scope and visibility across the firm globally.
Working within the EMEA Middle Office Investment Management Operations team, the Regulatory Reporting SME will have ownership of all regulatory reporting responsibilities for EMEA and Australian legislation. This role is high profiled and will be an active member of the Regulatory Reporting Oversight Committee, and will be responsible for presenting the monthly KPI statistics.
Candidates will be degree educated with a minimum of 2 years investment management operations experience with some exposure to regulatory reporting such as EMIR and/or MIFID.
