Recruitment Consultant for Leading IT Management Consultancy, London
We're a leader in management consultancy and professional services for large-scale technology change projects. Due to sustained growth, we're looking for a new member to join our London-based resourcing team. We have a friendly, collaborative culture, some fantastic benefits, and if we do say so ourselves, we're a great place to work.
We're looking for an experienced person to come onboard and work their way up to full ownership of key recruiting accounts. This needs someone who is highly-organised, people-friendly, and familiar with Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of IT (Cloud platforms, infrastructure, architecture, engineering, programming languages, etc.) and your AWS Architect from your Python Developer is a plus, but not a must. If you're a quick learner, with a keen eye, you'll soon pick this up, and we have a team of IT Pros who are happy to help.
Parts of this role involve:
Writing Job Adverts. Turning -- sometimes sparse, but always techie -- job specs into human-readable and appealing job adverts.
CV Screening. Checking submitted CVs against job specs and pipelining candidates appropriately.
Pre-Interview. Jumping on a call with candidates who check-all-the-right-boxes. This is an opportunity to tell them more about the role and project, sound out their salary expectations, see their personality and all-round fit, tell them what they can expect from us and why we are great to work for.
SME-Interview. If things have gone well so far you'll arrange a meeting between the candidate and one of our Subject Matter Experts. If they are successful at this stage, we will put them forward to our client.
Creating Profiles. When putting forward candidates to clients we create a one-page profile in place of their CV. We do this as first impressions count. We tease out their best points and iron-out any grammatical kinks, so excellent English skills are a must.
Onboarding. If a candidate has been accepted by a client, we now have a series of admin tasks to do, such as: Background checks, Right to work checks, setting them up on our timesheet systems, etc.
If you're less experienced than the above, we still want to hear from you, as company fit is just as important as skills fit.
Please send your latest CV, along with a cover note telling us why this role is of interest.
London based, generous salary, immediate start.
