Reconciliations/Securities Analyst

A Leading FS firm are looking to hire a Reconciliations/Securities Analyst

Initial 6 month contract (scope to roll)

Paying between £300 - £340 a day (Inside IR35)

Based in London - WFH/Remote if preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Day to Day processing and organisation of the tasks, to include maker/checker processing and verification for all the following:

  • Receipt of physical securities
  • Checking of securities and updating of system records
  • Removal of securities upon maturity for destruction or delivery back to relevant Paying Agent
  • Reconciliation of securities in accordance with FCA guidelines
  • Execution of debit and credit instructions on behalf of clients
  • Processing of Interest and Principal entitlements for Specialised Depository
  • Resolution of any security exceptions
  • Sanction's screening
  • Transaction Managers' Documentation Library function
  • Statement's facilitation hub
  • Monthly MIS reporting, KRIs, inventory reporting
  • System testing and development
  • Assist manager/supervisor with CMAR/MCAR collation for ultimate reporting to FCA

Skills & Qualifications :

  • 2+ Years Related Experience
  • Individuals at this level exhibit basic executional capabilities and are beginning to take on more responsibility
  • Knowledge of multiple types of investment instruments including: Equity securities, Debt instruments, Bonds and Asset Backed securities
  • Experience of Depository Safe Keeping, Sanctions Dispositioning and/or client statements is preferable.
  • Some knowledge of CASS regulations to securities holdings preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Proven success as a team player
  • Ideal for person with some prior vault experience wishing to expand their knowledge into other areas of the Agency & Trust
