This is an excellent opportunity to join a buy side organisation that continues to develop its excellent reputation as a market innovator. You will report into The Head of Credit Research. A perfect first move for a well trained ratings /credit or project finance analyst. Will also appeal to a current buyside analyst looking for a less silo'd environment with the chance to support long term investment in an ethical/risk aware framework.

This role is wide ranging and as such we are particularly interested in a candidate who has had significant experience/grounding as a credit/ rating/ project finance analyst. You should to be able to demonstrate experience within long term releted industry sectors with ideally exposure to looking at complete transactions and also single name analysis of related corporates.  Of particular appeal are those candidates who can offer a public/project finance analysis background and enjoy this work an analyst . Sovereign analysis will also be part of this work and again desirable but the candidate can be supported to develop this area of expertise. 

This opportunity may also appeal to credit/ investment analysts on the buyside who would like to be closer to the origination effort/or work within a less silo'd environment. We welcome applications from candidates who are looking to return to the market with this specific skill set. 

Key Responsibilities:.

  • Sector credit research
  • ​Internal rating, financial modelling and in depth review of associated documentation and covenants.
  • Providing summary and in-depth credit reviews of portfolio  This analysis this would include yearly reviews and research related projects.
  • Ongoing dynamic monitoring of the internal portfolio 
  • Keeping abreast of sector regulatory updates and developments. 

Experience:

  • At least  2 years experience at a relevant entity. (Rating Agency/ Asset Manager/ Bank) 
  • Credit analysis of structured transactions  also single name corporate analysis
  • DCF modelling use /indepth understanding 
  • Credit documentation specialist, ability to understand and review legal documentation/covenants. 
  • Knowledge of rating models
