An institutionally focused investment firm specialising in public and private corporate credit are looking to add a proposal writer to their growing team. Here you will be a part of a dynamic, hard working, enthusiastic and driven team in the heart of London.

Primary Responsibilities of Proposal Writer:

  • Coordinate with groups across the Firm to gather information and to write accurate and consistent responses to RFPs, DDQs and ongoing data requests
  • Assist in preparation of quarter-end deliverables that includes updating firm DDQs and consultant questionnaires
  • Work closely with colleagues and internal subject matter experts to meet delivery deadlines
  • Contribute to the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of RFP Library
  • Work closely with investment team

Qualifications and Skills required:

  • Solid academic background with a preference for a finance/marketing related degree (IMC or CFA study would be a plus)
  • Professional experience (with experience in an RFP role with a fixed income/credit focus)
  • Good working knowledge of asset management industry
  • Should have strong analytical skills, natural intellectual curiosity and the ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Should be comfortable working both autonomously and collaboratively
  • Ability to develop strong and productive relationships with internal subject matter experts and stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to contribute and edit content for RFP/DDQ responses
  • Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast paced environment while juggling multiple concurrent deadlines
  • Ability to prioritise high volumes of work from a multitude of sources to meet deadlines while maintaining the highest quality standards
  • Experience with formatting, reviewing and proofreading of materials for content and grammar
  • Advanced/Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Word & Excel)
