The Onboarding Team is responsible for a variety of client, product and infrastructure projects. As part of the project work, the Onboarding team identifies the required tasks to be completed and is actively involved in designing solutions. These projects often require collaboration across multiple business units to ensure that all project tasks are identified and completed in a timely manner. In addition to working closely with internal teams, the projects often also require partnership with external vendors and organizations such as custodians, and fund administrators

12 month fixed term contract - Project Manager, Onboarding

  • Coordinate and manage an onboarding effort, including identifying areas of focus and appropriate timelines
  • Lead a team of individuals across various business, support and control channels
  • Partner with custodians, fund administrators and external vendors
  • Critically analyze information and make sound judgments and recommendations.
  • Facilitate best practice process management with various operational and administrative areas of the organization
  • Design comprehensive operating models to support new strategic offerings, by leveraging existing systems and capabilities across the organization

Knowledgeable of:

  • Derivatives and their associated legal agreements
  • State Street Bank RKS platform
  • Fixed income and equity systems such as Charles River, Bloomberg, Aladdin and WSO
  • Bank loans and their required operational support
  • Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, MS Project, and PowerPoint; Visio skills a plus

Excellent skills in:

  • Creating and maintaining project plans, monitoring open issues, and driving resolutions
  • Organizing project material, with strong attention to detail
  • Verbal and written communication

Experience with:

  • The securities industry and variety of investment vehicles
  • Project management


  • Significant experience in financial services operations
  • B.A. degree or equivalent, preferred in finance or accounting
