Product Pricing Specialist
Role Summary:

The Pricing Specialist works closely with all the members of the Finastra Pricing Excellence Team, supporting the Head of Pricing to continually improve and maintain a best in class pricing organisation.
The role covers all lines of business across all regions. It includes some responsibility for pricing strategy evaluation and improvement, pricing process documentation and improvement, pricing governance communication and compliance.
Stakeholder management is a key element, communication, training and continual best practice sharing throughout the organisation.

Responsibilities & Deliverables:

Your deliverables will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Pricing Process & Policies and Governance
  • Take a leading role in the development and enhancement of the Pricing Processes, understanding how they flow today, proposing continual improvements and help to maintain documentation.
  • Support the enforcement of pricing policies, proposing continual improvements to the Head of Pricing and help to maintain documentation.
  • Develop a good understanding of the companies pricing governance, helping stakeholders be successful in following governance policy and assisting the Head of Pricing to maintain compliance.

Pricing Models & Strategy
  • Working with the product managers to propose the right price for new products coming to market. Creating price realization analytics to evaluate existing prices in market are correct.
  • To understand effective pricing strategies for Fintech and B2B Software industries. Help contribute to the continual development and improvement of pricing strategies for all the lines of business.

Data Insights and Dashboards
  • Using pricing and sales data, identify actionable insights for product managers and sales, trend analysis, price and discount optimization opportunities.
  • Working with the Head of Pricing to maintain pricing dashboards for stakeholder and sponsor distribution.

Pricing Best Practice Sharing
  • To be an authority on pricing, share best practices within the company, to support and educate others and promote pricing great methodology at every opportunity.

Stakeholder Management
  • Build good working relationships with stakeholders and sponsors. To be a continual contributor and trusted adviser to the business.

Required Experience:
  • Experience in a structured pricing function with commercial exposure.
  • Good pricing credibility; understands and can articulate pricing strategy, pricing models, pricing processes, pricing governance.
  • Natural approach to stakeholder engagement, affability and confidence in working with a range of stakeholders.
  • Results orientated with a focus on making things happen.
  • Project management exposure, delivering high quality results to planned timescales, able to manage multiple concurrent activities, keeping stakeholders updated as required at all times.
