Product Manager based in our London office. Product management is responsible for the overall success of the FXL product suite. Our product management group is involved in all activities that impact the product internally and are responsible for ensuring that the product meets the needs of our clients and the marketplace

In this role, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Understanding client requirements and working with the FXL Development team on designs and acceptance criteria for product enhancements
  • Working closely with Broadridge's Sales and Conversions teams to provide product mentorship and support for introducing the application to new clients and prospects
  • Responsibility for the oversight of development and coordination with the client on UAT / SIT testing and ultimately the adoption of resulting new systems with enhanced functionality
  • Building and enriching customer relationships in conjunction with the Client Services team to help improve product satisfaction and obtain references
  • Obtaining a thorough understanding of the product in order to assist clients by answering questions and troubleshooting application related issues


  • Develop an understanding of customer and market requirements and define how the product set must develop to be widely and successfully utilized
  • Partner with Development Managers, Product Analysts and Business PMs as well as other key partners to facilitate effective communication, assess needs, understand requirements and priorities and implement solutions that meet client target dates
  • Work with product development by working daily with Development and other teams through all phases of the process: ideation, design, development, testing, and product rollout
  • Build solid client facing relationships in order to understand current and future needs
  • Provide continuous input and feedback into the product strategy and product roadmap based on experience, client interaction and market analysis
  • Promote Broadridge solutions to clients, prospects and industry bodies plus garner market intelligence to aid institutional strategy focus
  • Elicit client requirements and write up specifications. Gain a clear understanding of the operational need in order to deliver the correct and appropriate solution
  • Present new product specifications and new version overviews to new and existing clients, also to internal groups, including Sales to ensure they are kept up to date on the product offering.
  • Serve as escalation point for resolution of client questions, production issues in support of Account Management, Development/Product and Client Support teams
  • Ensure client/product issues are deeply researched, solutions are well-thought-out, and recommendations are provided to all appropriate parties
  • Work with the Implementation team to understand client business needs and help align the client specific tests with our QA tools. Coordinate implementation of changes with external parties & client testing/client's signoff
  • Participate in pre-sales engagement meetings from a functional requirements gathering and understanding perspective. Ensure the client needs are understood and defined to allow business scoping and commercial arrangements to be completed
  • Assist with product demonstrations, ensuring they are kept up-to-date and relevant as and when new functionality is added
  • Create product collateral. Write press releases, content for marketing materials such as brochures and other technical or promotional literature
  • Establish and maintain relationships with client partners to understand client's strategic goals and how Broadridge can partner on initiatives
  • Participate in providing internal & client application training as required
  • Assist in writing and executing test plans for product enhancements and provide expertise to the QA team
  • Help prioritize the product backlog into Sprints to align with the product vision and priorities
  • Make recommendations for process and business flows and develop consensus on requirements to consistently bring open items to closure

o Money Market Instruments

o Exchange Traded Derivatives

o Interest Rate Derivatives


  • Degree in Computing, Economics or Finance required
  • Must have 8+ years experience working with Foreign Exchange & Cash Management systems
  • Must have 2+ years of hands-on knowledge of the Broadridge FXL solution
  • Must have 6+ years of direct leadership experience
  • Extensive experience gathering and documenting client requirements including creating use cases and user stories
  • Knowledge of a broad range of business processes throughout the transaction processing life-cycle including operational knowledge of customizable workflow tools
  • Proficient knowledge in SQL, ETL tools, Reporting tools, Issue/Software Tracking Software and Microsoft Office products
