A rare and highly desirable opportunity for a recently qualified ACA accountant, ideally with Big 4 experience to join a prestigious and dynamic Private Equity firm's London team. This is a rare chance to get involved in a broad range of deal activity across Europe ultimately supporting investment professionals, legal and tax experts and essentially acting as a finance point of contact for all deal-related matters. This will be a commercial and challenging deal-focussed role - ideal for an ACA who is eager to build their career in Private Equity.

Responsible for providing technical support on all finance related matters for deal related processes in Europe 
 Provide day to day support to the European PE Finance team on all private equity transactions in Europe

 Produce relevant, accurate, and timely information in relation to all corporate structures on deals

 Understand fund flow deal documents and assist in executing the deal closings, follow-on investments, dividends, refinancing, and exits

 Communicate and escalate any necessary front line issues that need to be addressed to the legal, tax or Europe Finance Manager

 Maintain and coordinate periodic updates of policies and procedures slides in response to issues, which arise or changes in house policy

 Assist with waterfalls on liquidity events and fair value calculations for Luxcos

 Assist in responding to external private equity regulatory bodies like the BVCA, EVCA, BVK and the Walker Guidelines Monitoring Group

 Provide assistance with compiling data on deal costs and any other management information and portfolio reporting to the London MD group or the Global Finance Team

 Interact with US teams, London Legal Team and Tax Director and answer queries relating to the European portfolio and implement global private equity finance protocols as they relate to the European portfolio

 Interact with bankers, lawyers, tax advisors in multiple jurisdictions and provide best practice deliverables to all stakeholders 

 University degree

 Qualified chartered accountant

 Experience in Private Equity, M&A or Tax

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
