Social Media Giant - Goverment Relations

My client, a global social media giant, is looking to expand and develop its Politics & Government Outreach Program across the EMEA. The team's objective is to liaise with government officials, public administrations, diplomats, and civil society leaders on building out their presence on their platform through best practices and understanding new tools. It aims to help government and political officials and civic engagement organizations to be educated on the platform in order to better connect with citizens and to join the local, national, regional, and global dialogues about key public policy issues

Day to day activities of this role include

  • Assisting the Politics and Government Outreach team in the creation and preparation of educational materials for stakeholders in the government and political space.
  • Working with multiple teams within the company to identify informational and educational resources and assisting in adapting them as part of a comprehensive training curriculum for elected officials around EMEA .
  • Assist in identifying relevant data points related to platform usage (penetration metrics, trends in local or regional government, etc.)

Experience needed
  • A strong background in government, politics and civil society engagement
  • Skilled at developing multi-level strategies and executing large scale projects.
  • Excellent communications skills, strong writing skills to develop presentations and materials, and analytical skills
