Payments & Technology Business

Description

Work with Sales Enablement leads to evaluate digitisation strategies to identify gaps within existing solutions and support the prioritisation of these for developments

Works with Global owners of new solutions such as Crypto, Digital and other solutions to support specific public sector engagement either by the sales teams or directly as an SME

Leads on specific, end to end partnership initiatives that involve multiple business solutions and require collaboration across the team and internally.

Work with Solution leads to undertake pipeline opportunity assessment for the specific purposes of identifying solution gaps and establishing external partnerships

Identify data visibility gaps in current government payment system knowledge within the functions utilising either desk top research, industry white papers and assessment of industry payment systems initiatives

Develop a market scan of the relevant GovTech marketplace in priority markets and develops informed recommendations on commercial partnership or where appropriate strategic investment

Lead, develop, and maintain productive relationships with strategic partners

Support in-market and regional business development activities within the Government Solutions team with GovTech Innovation insights and SME support on business innovations supporting public policy agendas

Profile

Track record working in ideally a financial services organisation focusing on payment development and strategy

Extensive experience leading, developing and maintaining client or strategic partner relationships

Strong consultative sales experience, with the ability to educate a wide range of stakeholders on business capabilities, clearly business oriented and able to communicate and influence within commercialisation settings

A high level of commercial focus and the ability to understand the needs of financial institutions, fintechs, processors and public sector clients

Experience working within a global matrix organisation, partnering with stakeholder such as Country Managers, Marketing, Government Engagement, and Solution Owners

Strong financial acumen and outcome oriented with a track record in contract negotiations

Ability to prioritise and focus on key deliverables and projects

Proven ability to work cross-functionally as the success of this role will be dependent on working closely with other teams across the company
