Job Description

Role Responsibilities:
1. Support the development and day to day running of IG's optimisation strategy globally
2. Assist in turning data from various sources (e.g. Adobe analytics, Adobe audience manager, Decibel , internal BI etc..)into KPI focused, meaningful insight that helps to identify opportunities to improve conversion metrics and customer experience throughout the whole customer journey life cycle
3. Support the testing process from identifying testing opportunities, scoping out requirements, creating technical specifications, developing and executing tests, analysing their performance, making recommendations for improving customer experience and business KPIs based on the test results
4. Help to champion optimisation in the business by advocating transparency in customer journeys, KPIs and ongoing tactical tests
5. Manage and lead specific web experiment projects/initiatives for improving customer experience and business KPIs
6. Build a deep understanding of marketing channels to get a 360 view on customer journeys and work with these channel owners to optimise user experience and business KPIs
7. Manage relationships with external suppliers as required

Person Specification:
Ability / Expertise

• At least 2 years working experience with Web Optimisation solutions (preferably Optimizely)
• At least 2 years experience with website analytics tools (preferably adobe SiteCatalyst) to understand consumer behaviour and site performance
• At least 2 years experience with content management systems (preferably Adobe Experience Manager)
• Familiar with Digital Experience analytics solutions e.g. Decibel, Clicktale, Session cam etc..
• Familiar with Data/customer management platforms such as Adobe Audience Manager
• Ability to manage multiple optimisation projects at a time in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
• Strong analytical skills in order to make data driven decisions and build out optimisation plans to reflect this
• Adaptable, you'll need to be prioritise work in a versatile marketing environment with changing priorities and deadlines
• Being the voice of the customers, understanding their needs to support creating seamless end-to-end customer journeys
• Digitally literate, with a strong interest in user experience
• Familiar with working in an agile environment and with development teams
• Working experience in financial services industry would be desirable
• JavaScript and HTML experience


Relevant degree / post graduate degree in Marketing or appropriate Economics or Maths based qualification
Professional chartered marketer (CIM) or similar qualification
