Operations Associate - Private Equity

A role has become available within the Fund Operations team of a young, multicultural boutique Private Equity firm based in London. This role directly reports to the Head of Fund Operations and has top level exposure to all aspects of the business.

My client is looking for people who want to be part of a young and dynamic company and are willing to actively contribute to the expansion of the business. This is a superb opportunity to work in the Private Equity sector and to develop a unique understanding of operational, legal and administrative issues that go hand in hand with Private Equity Funds.

Responsibilities include:

Investment support:

  • Supporting the investment team at the various stages of the acquisitions and disposals alongside the administrative follow-up of
  • Maintain accurate investment documentation for all investments during the life cycle of the

Investor relations:

  • Supporting the Investor Relations team with the preparation and distribution of investor communications, including quarterly reporting, drawdown notices and any other investor related
  • Assist with client take-on, ensuring adherence with KYC and AML requirements.

Fund Administration:

  • Support the day-to-day administration of around 40 international fund companies.
  • Undertaking company secretarial tasks (preparation of minutes and board resolutions for all entities as applicable).
  • Liaising with auditors, banks, lawyers, notaries and accountants in relation to the day-to-day business for the various

Compliance:

  • Assisting the Head of Fund Operations, to ensure funds are fully compliant with statutory requirements and external regulations as applicable to each location (FCA in UK, CSSF in Lux, and other jurisdictions as applicable).
  • Assist with ongoing compliance monitoring within the Company in line with FCA

Ideal candidate:

  • Could be very well suited to someone coming from a fund administration business looking for their first in-house move into Private Equity.
  • Knowledge or experience in the fund industry is essential. A minimum of 3 years.
  • Compliance, operations, admin-related, legal or company secretarial experience preferred.
  • Must be educated to degree
