The Operations Department is organised into three teams; Public Markets, Alternatives support and Business Implementation. The role in the Business Implementation team requires a high level of stakeholder engagement and vendor management with the ability to manage multiple initiatives. Attention to detail is critical and high standard of written and verbal communication with all levels of the organisation is a major component of the role.

Key responsibilities

Delivery

  • Coordinate mandatory or requested new products, markets, brokers, managers and portfolios across support teams into production
  • Maintain an Operational regulatory radar, tracking regulatory change which impacts Operations
  • Own the delivery of regulatory change into production
  • Oversee regulatory reporting ensuring USSIM/USSL is meeting best practice
  • Maintain trading documentation
  • Support the Head of Business Implementation on initiatives and ad-hoc tasks as required

Stakeholder Management

  • Maintain relationships with Clients – Portfolio Management teams
  • Create strong internal networks with support teams (PAIR, Legal, Compliance, Finance)
  • Own issues and provide structured regular feedback reporting
  • Prioritisation and progress tracking of initiatives with providers

Service Partners

  • Own the first level escalation of issues
  • Create and manage the management structure of providers (Issues lists, MI review, Coordinate service reviews)
  • Coordinate system access with JPM & NT

Reporting

  • Collate data and generate Weekly operating report
  • Support MI reporting as required

 

Development

  • Look for training opportunities to enhance skills
  • Improve personal skill matrix score each year

 

Your experience

  • Business / Finance background
  • Current knowledge or an aptitude to learn financial products
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Flexible approach to re-prioritise tasks
  • Ability to understand impacts beyond Operations scope
  • Can do attitude
