› To provide superior customer service and resolution of issues relating to opening and ongoing maintenance of client accounts up to closure activities.
Administration Process & Controls
› Manage own workflow queues to complete all items by internal and external cut off times.
› Process ongoing account maintenance using internal proprietary systems to process monetary and non-monetary transactions on client accounts to deadline and SLA’s.
› Ensure accurate client administration processing and provide value added servicing including the escalation of client related processing issues to team lead.
› Assist team leader with the review of the implemented procedures and agreed service levels to ensure delivery of services to the client in an accurate and timely manner.
› Assist team lead with departmental projects to improve the current processes and/or systems.
Oversight & Ongoing Maintenance of Client
› Maintain reports, relating to SLA’s and highlight potential issues and offer effective solutions to resolve.
› Update and manage database to ensure data is consistent and of good integrity.
› QC of trades/maintenance/transfers/etc to ensure any potential issues are flagged and risk to SEI and the client(s) is checked and minimised.
Oversight of Daily Trading Activities:
› Identify any real or potential trading issues and highlight risk and resolve where appropriate.
› QC of trades to ensure any potential issues are flagged and risk to SEI and the client(s) is checked and minimised.
› Validate that control functions have been carried out.
› Produce and maintain tax reports ensuring they are produced within required deadlines and SLA’S and accurately reflect HMRC regulatory requirements.
› Educate the client and assist them in implementing and understanding SEI products and services to meet their business needs.
› Cultivate and maintain close client relationships through proactive measures and creative customer service.
› Produce weekly, mthly and quarterly MI and Control reports ensuring they are delivered on time and recommend any process improvements to reports where appropriate.
› Maintain and update internal systems/ data reference points in agreed format to ensure consistency and communication of relevant information within the team and ensure integrity of data.
› Keep current on market conditions, regulation, SEI products and services, etc;
› Adhere to all relevant FCA requirements and compliance; and
› Any other ad-hoc projects as required.
Technical Capabilities/Skills & Experience Required for the Role:
› Ideally degree educated (or equivalent) with or be working towards IAQ/IMC (or equivalent).
› Some experience within financial services, private banking, mutual funds and investment advisory is preferred as is industry knowledge of private banking, asset management and investment processing.
› Strong understanding of transactional processes within wealth management coupled with the ability to identify workflow inefficiencies and deliver solutions to correct them.
› Ability to support client transaction requests, while tracking various workflow and call volume statistics.
› Process-oriented with strong attention to detail.
› Ability to handle multiple tasks with tight delivery schedules.
› Effective written and verbal communication skills.
› Responsiveness, accountability and adaptability.
› Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
› Self-motivated and willing to learn.
